B-CONNECTED is a global platform that connects qualified tutors with educational institutions

worldwide. We provide specialized tutor training, ongoing support, and performance coaching

to ensure the highest quality service for both tutors and institutions.

B-CONNECTED offers the following services:

For Tutors: Specialized training, ongoing support, access to job opportunities, and

performance coaching.

For Educational Institutions: Customized tutor recruitment, training solutions, and

access to a pool of qualified, pre-screened tutors.

To be a tutor with B-CONNECTED, you must have:

A National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.

A 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate (or be willing to obtain one, depending on the

requirements of the client)

Excellent English proficiency (neutral accent). Teaching experience (formal or informal) is an advantage.

Strong computer literacy and troubleshooting skills.

To ensure smooth and uninterrupted online teaching, your laptop should meet the following

requirements:

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5 @ 2.0GHz (4 cores).

RAM: 8GB or higher

HD Webcam

Noise Cancelling headsets

Fibre Internet: 20MBPS or higher

Operating System: Windows 10 or higher, or macOS 10.15+.

Additional: Backup power supply for uninterrupted sessions (Willing to obtain)

B-CONNECTED offers continuous support and performance coaching to all tutors. This includes:

Regular performance reviews and feedback.

One-on-one coaching sessions to improve teaching techniques.

Access to a community of fellow tutors for advice and sharing best practices.

24/7 Support from team leaders and performance coaches

To apply for a tutor position with B-CONNECTED, follow these steps:

Ensure that your qualifications and experience match the requirements for the role you’re

applying for.→ Online Assessment: After submitting your application, you may be required to complete

an online assessment to evaluate your teaching abilities and knowledge abiding to our

clients specifications

→ Interview: If your application is shortlisted, you’ll be invited for an interview, where we’ll

ask a series of questions to get to know you better and assess your fit for the role.

→ Training and Demo Lessons: If you successfully pass the interview, you’ll be scheduled

for training sessions and demo lessons to prepare you for teaching with B-

CONNECTED.

→ Onboarding and Support: After completing your training, you’ll go through our

onboarding process, where you will be assigned to roles and receive ongoing support

to help you succeed in your tutoring journey.

B-CONNECTED offers a wide range of online and in-person teaching positions across various

subjects, including ESL (English as a Second Language), STEM (Science, Technology,

Engineering, Mathematics), and other academic disciplines. Jobs may be full-time, part-time, or

contract-based, depending on the institution’s needs.

No, there is no cost to becoming a tutor with B-CONNECTED. All our training, support, and job

placement services are free to tutors.

Yes, as long as you meet the technical requirements (reliable internet connection, suitable

laptop, etc.), you can work as a tutor from anywhere in the world. B-CONNECTED connects

tutors with institutions across different countries, offering a truly global work environment.
